statement
I introduce the refuse of our society into realms where the original codes
cease to exist. The packaging, destined to seduce the consumer, has lost its
function; the traditional hierarchy has ceased to work.
Suddenly the mass product becomes singular; it does not have anything to promise
anymore, there are no dreams left to sell.
I also like the fact that my sculptures are transitory;
it reflects our society where things have a very short life and get replaced
very quickly.
For a short moment, these compositions, which are programmed to disappear,
question and criticize our consumer society and tell us about the fading of
recently desired things.
